Explore our Collections

Southland’s Rural Heritage Centre spans several buildings, each housing local and regional farming collections and displays for visitors to explore.

Each building is named to honour a significant club member.

Bruce Lindsay Shed

From left to right you will find the Willet Press area which includes examples of Willet implements and other industrial machinery.

Beside that is the Tom Parkes workshop. This is where all the action happens, restoration and general maintenance of the collection.

Next to that is an area for our larger items like the Priestman and RB10 draglines.
